My consultation process explained

Who are my services for?

  • Motivated individuals and families who want to truly understand their furry companions

  • People and families facing behavioral challenges that need professional insight

  • Those ready to commit to meaningful, lasting change

  • Anyone living with cats, no matter where you are geographically

First written contact

When you reach out via the form on my website or by message, I review the information you share about your situation and your companion(s). This first contact sometimes helps identify whether behavioral consultation is the right approach, or if another professional, such as a veterinarian, is needed. After all, some behavioral problems can stem from underlying medical issues that must be addressed first.

The introductory call

One of my core beliefs is that successful behavioral work begins with a human connection. That’s why I always start with a free ten-minute introductory call. This brief chat allows us to meet face-to-face (human and animal!), discuss your companion’s situation, explore how we might work together, answer your questions, and decide which package best fits your needs.

The in-depth session

Next, if we decide to work together, our journey begins with a comprehensive video consultation (about 1.5 hours). During this session, we:

  • Explore your animal’s history in detail

  • Analyze current behavioral challenges

  • Identify possible triggers and underlying causes

  • Focus on a main goal that will serve as your roadmap

  • Develop a personalized behavioral modification plan

Ongoing support & follow-up: Guided packages

Depending on the package you choose, we schedule regular follow-up sessions, always adapting to your situation. These check-ins are crucial, they help track progress, adjust strategies based on your feedback and observations, walk you through implementing recommendations step by step, answer your questions and concerns, sustain your motivation, and celebrate every small victory :)

Between sessions, I remain available by email or message to review videos of your animal’s behavior, answer implementation questions, and offer additional guidance as needed.

Why is this process important?

Behavioral issues rarely have quick fixes. They often result from complex combinations of environmental, relational, and learned factors. That’s why I don’t offer meaningful solutions by email alone, a proper diagnosis and treatment require dedicated time and attention from both you and me.

A personal note

As an independent practitioner, I’ve built my business around a passion for helping animals and their families thrive together. While consulting is my profession, it’s also my calling. I believe in transparency around my services and fees, knowing that professional behavioral support is an investment in your pet’s well-being, and in your family’s harmony.
